As a senior in my Bachelor of Digital Design & Development, you are supposed to do an internship in the field of your choosing. I applied for a spot in The Washington Center's Academic Internship Program and was selected. With this opportunity, I was able to do my internship in Washington D.C. as a 'Digital and Graphic Design' intern at Polygraph Creative.Polygraph is a smaller studio of 5 people, focused on branding within the design industry. I chose this agency since they have an impressive portfolio of client work, and showed creativity within a wide array of industries ranging from hospitality
to healthcare industries. As a branding and graphic design studio, they gave me the opportunity to contribute to each step, from concepting and developing brand identities, creating and refining assets within existing brand identities, to editorial layouts and helping create client presentations for projects.
The Final Product
A huge thanks to the Polygraph team for guiding me and teaching me all about branding, print, illustrations, 3D, motion graphics and everything that truly brings a brand to life.
